Regional Medical Advisor
Monica Greene started her career as a registered nurse midwife, then studied community medicine and health while working for the Sierra Leone Red Cross. Her passion for women’s health and development provided the drive for her to study reproductive health, and later development management, at the University of Sierra Leone.
She has been a part of MSI Reproductive Choices for 15 years, starting with Marie Stopes Sierra Leone, where she made sizeable contributions to the expansion in size and scope of the programme. For the past six years, she has been working with the Medical Development Team as a Regional Medical Advisor and clinical trainer, supporting country programmes to achieve sustained quality in sexual and reproductive health service delivery.
