Lily Liu Liqing

Lily Liu Liqing is the Country Director of MSI China. Lily established the programme in 2001, which primarily provides sexual and reproductive health education and services to unmarried young people, migrant populations, and those living with HIV and AIDS. 

Lily led the development and launch of the You&Me initiative, an MSI China programme that focuses on reaching young people. Since 2003, Lily has also provided technical assistance to government agencies that run family planning services, influencing the improvement of client-centred care and high-quality service approaches.  

Lily has played a key role in ensuring that Chinese women of reproductive age receive dignified and high-quality family planning services. Currently, she is focusing on strengthening the role of MSI Health China, a company set to build a procurement hub to export Chinese manufactured high-quality medical products to MSI partner countries and external companies, to ensure more choices for women in resource-limited contexts.
