We’re proud that MSI Reproductive Choices was ranked in the top category of Global 50/50’s latest assessment on gender equality, fairness and equity.
These values sit at the heart of MSI’s mission and the culture we’re working hard to create, and this recognition reflects the commitment and sustained effort across MSI to back up our values with meaningful action.
The endorsement comes from Global 50/50 – an independent think tank that tracks and assesses around 200 global health organisations. They monitor how organisations understand and act on gender and give out a scorecard and ranking.
This year, MSI was one of just 33 organisations worldwide in the top performance category. Global 50/50 commended MSI for maintaining our public commitments to gender and equity more broadly.
We were given top marks in categories such as:
- Our public commitment to gender equality and definition of gender
- Board representation and workplace policies supporting gender equality, fairness and equity
- Sex-disaggregation of our data to build a picture of equity across our organisation and programming
- Gender parity of our senior management and board
More than an accolade, it’s recognition of our ongoing work to build an inclusive organisation, remain a respected employer in global health, and be a force for gender equality worldwide.
