Building on our own frontline experience, MSI engaged global, national and community partners, providers and experts to inform our Guiding Framework for Comprehensive Abortion Care.
The result defines our priorities in abortion provision and advocacy, and sets out our roadmap to 2030.

Since 2000, our teams have supported over 52 million people to access abortion care across six continents. We’ve reached the most marginalised and remote communities where others cannot go, allowing us to gain learnings at scale.

This has been a year like no other. Facing devastating funding cuts for reproductive healthcare and a concerted attack on reproductive rights globally, our sector is facing unprecedented challenges.
When Trump signed into effect the global gag rule earlier this year, he signed away women’s rights, voices and lives. This was just the start – his administration’s targeting of reproductive healthcare and global aid has been more far-reaching and harmful than anyone expected. MSI has responded in unapologetic defiance: we will continue to provide reproductive healthcare and we will not be silenced.
This is the message plastered across MSI’s booth at the Abortion & Reproductive Justice Conference – we’re inviting delegates to sign their name that they, too, will not be silenced. Together, we’re proudly raising our voice for access to abortion, contraception and reproductive agency.
