We are delighted to announce that Dr Samukeliso Dube, Executive Director of Family Planning 2030, has joined MSI’s Board of Trustees.
Dr Samukeliso has more than 20 years of experience in global health, including senior roles focused on the delivery and financing of health services. She is currently the Executive Director of Family Planning 2030, a global partnership advancing access to voluntary, rights-based family planning.
Dr Samukeliso’s career has spanned the African continent, working on the delivery of healthcare models and health systems strengthening. Her previous roles include serving as ‘General Manager’ at Afrocentric Health, ‘Medical Counsel for Africa and Business Development Manager’ at Royal Philips, ‘Head of Healthcare Investments’ at Ark, and ‘Africa Program Director’ at PATH.
Commenting on her appointment to the MSI Board, Dr Samukeliso Dube shared:
“I’m truly delighted to join the Board and be part of MSI’s journey. Throughout my work, MSI has consistently been recognised as the leading partner in family planning and reproductive health. I was recently in Kenya, where colleagues highlighted MSI’s exceptional work in expanding access for adolescents.
“The impact MSI has around the world is transformative, not only for reproductive health but across broader development outcomes. I look forward to contributing my experience, particularly from Africa, and supporting MSI’s continued growth and leadership in advancing family planning and reproductive health globally.”
Dr Samukeliso holds a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Zimbabwe, a master’s in public health from the University of Limpopo, a diploma in tropical medicine and infectious diseases, a master’s in business administration, and a master’s in finance and investments from the University of the Witwatersrand.
