Globally, 257 million people want to be using contraception but have no access, and millions of women live in countries where reproductive healthcare is restricted or inaccessible.
This isn’t equality. This is women and girls being denied agency over their own bodies and healthcare, meaning their futures are not in their hands.
When women and girls have reproductive choice, they can choose if or when to become pregnant and decide their own timelines – they can choose to stay in education, pursue a career or drive change in their community.
