It’s been over two years since the right to abortion was overturned in the US, and we’ve seen a rise in attacks on reproductive choice globally. With authorities, abusive partners, and anti-abortion groups all stalking women online, MSI rallied to respond.

In June, to mark the anniversary of the overturning of Roe Vs. Wade, we launched the Vagina Privacy Network: a new type of ‘VPN’, offering a step-by-step protocol for those who want to stay anonymous online.

Watch our short video on the impact of the campaign so far:

It’s never been more important that everyone can access information on their health and rights safely – so we’re pleased that our digital defence guidance is reaching people across the world who need it. Since launch, the Vagina Privacy Network has garnered 231 million impressions globally across the press and social media, and has been shared by partners around the world.

We’re proud to share that the Vagina Privacy Network has also been nominated for several industry awards. So far, the campaign has been shortlisted for two global PRWeek healthcare awards for the categories of ‘Best in Health Equity’ and ‘Best in Women’s Health’.

Two years on from when Roe Vs. Wade was overturned, we’ve never been more committed to defend the right to choose. Please help us spread the word about the campaign, and access the digital privacy guidance via the VPN website.
