Dr Demi Priscilla Letsa
Country Director, Ghana

Dr. Letsa is a global health and business leader with over 18 years of experience designing, scaling, and commercialising health programmes across the United States, the Caribbean, and West Africa. She has led and managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, overseeing strategy, revenue optimisation, partnerships, and market expansion for donor-funding and hybrid commercial programmes.
Over the past decade, Dr. Letsa has played a central role in shaping large-scale health programmes in Ghana, working closely with governments and private sector partners to translate evidence into efficient, results-focused delivery models. She was instrumental in the research, development, and market launch of one of Ghana’s fastest-selling condom brands. Her work has consistently driven performance through clear metrics, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability beyond donor funding.
She has worked or collaborated with organisations such as Palladium, Populations Services International, the Population Council, Total Family Health Organisation, USAID, GIZ, KOICA, UNFPA, and the FCDO, leading high -performing teams and complex health enterprises with a strong commercial lens.
Beyond her professional work, Dr. Letsa is an avid reader and writer. Her debut novel, The 28th February House, was published in July 2025.
