Alain Christian Ndem Mbengue joined MSI Senegal in 2015 and has held several key positions, including RME Assistant, Outreach Channel Lead, Operations Manager, Operations Director, and Head of Regional Operations. In 2024, he became Country Director of MSI Senegal, and in 2025, he was briefly appointed Country Director of MSI Mali before returning to his previous role in Senegal in 2026.
Alain brings extensive leadership experience, having supported operations across multiple MSI programmes, including Senegal, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, and Zimbabwe. He also contributed to social marketing initiatives in Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
With his commitment, analytical acumen, and strategic vision, Alain has played a pivotal role in the growth and resilience of MSI Senegal, positioning the programme as a trusted partner to the Ministry of Health. Alain is deeply committed to empowering women and girls in Senegal by improving access to essential health services that support their rights, choices, and potential to lead change in their communities.
