Inonge Wina-Chinyama joined MSI in Zambia in 2014 as Marketing and Communications Manager before going into the Programmes Department where she led the team reaching adolescents and people with disabilities. In 2024, she took up a leadership role at the Health Services Department in Zambia which is responsible for outreach service delivery, health systems strengthening, fleet management, and country programme security.
She joined the MSI Zambia Senior Management team after fourteen years’ experience in marketing management, which includes seven years’ experience working in sexual and reproductive health. She also has valuable experience in external networking and national relations, developing and maintaining effective partnerships that work to increase MSI Zambia’s work and impact.
Inonge also sits in Zambia’s national Family Planning and National Adolescent Technical Working Groups, working on the removal of access barriers for women and girls, and informing policy change. In 2019, she was recognised by IDEO.org, a global design company which creates positive impact through design, as one of the bold women they have worked with in designing solutions for girls’ adolescent health in Zambia. She is also a member of the Global Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Panel, MSI’s advisory body for all matters relating to diversity, equality and inclusion.
Inonge holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Edith Cowan University in Australia, as well as a Masters in Corporate Communications from the University of Zambia.
