MSI Canada offers individuals and organizations in Canada the opportunity to help women and girls around the world control their own futures with contraception and abortion services. 

Our small team in Canada works with advocacy and civil society groups, the media and Canadian policymakers to share evidence and stories of the impact of reproductive choice, garnering support for reproductive health access worldwide.

MSI has programs in 36 countries across six continents, providing contraception and abortion care in some of the world’s most remote and marginalized places, including across Francophone Africa.

Our evidence-based programs and local partnerships allow us to go where no one else does, and to support people who otherwise wouldn’t have any access to these choices. We leave no one behind.

We’ve had a longstanding partnership with the Government of Canada, whose ongoing support of our work has enabled millions of women and girls to access life-changing and lifesaving care.  

Women in rural communities, adolescents, people with disabilities, and families affected by conflict and displacement have all been able to make reproductive choices that support their health and futures, thanks to Canada’s strong commitment to choice, gender equality, and universal health coverage.  

Meanwhile, as global opposition to reproductive rights is rising, Canadian leadership in defending choice is more critical than ever.
