Dr Samukeliso has more than 20 years of experience in global health, including senior roles focused on the delivery and financing of health services. She is currently the Executive Director of Family Planning 2030, a global partnership advancing access to voluntary, rights-based family planning.
Dr Samukeliso’s career has spanned the African continent, working on the delivery of healthcare models and health systems strengthening. Her previous roles include serving as ‘General Manager’ at Afrocentric Health, ‘Medical Counsel for Africa and Business Development Manager’ at Royal Philips, ‘Head of Healthcare Investments’ at Ark, and ‘Africa Program Director’ at PATH.
Dr Samukeliso holds a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Zimbabwe, a master’s in public health from the University of Limpopo, a diploma in tropical medicine and infectious diseases, a master’s in business administration, and a master’s in finance and investments from the University of the Witwatersrand.
