Beth Schlachter joined MSI in the United States of America in 2024. Beth has worked in the women’s health and rights sector for close to 20 years, joining us from IPPF, where she served as Interim Director of Global Advocacy.
Beth has exercised strategic leadership throughout her career. She was Executive Director of FP2020-FP2030, where she transformed the global partnership, doubled its size, scope, and funding, ultimately reaching women and girls in 48 countries with access to contraception. She also worked in the U.S. Department of State for fifteen years, where she led US government policy on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Beth has joined MSI at a critical moment for reproductive choice, where the stakes are high and the anti-choice movement has been building momentum in elections and the courts. She’s excited to play her part in MSI’s advocacy for sexual and reproductive health rights, and protecting choice for women worldwide.
